METHODS OF INTERWORKING BETWEEN MMT MEDIA AND DASH MEDIA

PURPOSE: A method for linking MMT(Mpeg Media Transport) media and DASH(Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP) media is provided to perform linking of MMT media and DASH media by linking and storing MPD(Media Presentation Description) information with and to SICTT(Service Information Configuration Information Table) and MACIT(MMT Asset Configuration Information Table). CONSTITUTION: A home media server(510) replays MMT media transmitted from an MMT transmission server(650). The home media server transmits MPD information to the portable terminal by extracting MPD linking information in response to a request for the MPD information from a portable terminal(550). A DASH(Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP) transmission server(660) transmits a DASH media to the portable terminal in response to a request for the DASH media from the portable terminal.
