POWER TRANSMISSION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A power transmission device is provided to prevent noise by applying an electromagnetic force generated from a field coil assembly non-uniformly to a disc so that a disc assembly touches a pulley at two different times. CONSTITUTION: A power transmission device comprises a pulley(180), a disc(160), a disc assembly(140), and an unbalance unit. The pulley is rotated by driving power transferred from an engine and embedded with a filed coil assembly(190) which generates attracting suction magnetic flux according to the application of power. The disc selectively touches the pulley by the attracting suction magnetic flux of the field coil assembly. The disc assembly comprises a shock absorbing unit(150) which is coupled to the disc and absorbs an impact generated when the disc touches the pulley. The unbalance unit allows the disc assembly to touch the pulley successively with a time difference.
