APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONVERTING HETEROGENEOUS BINARY

PURPOSE: A heterogeneous binary conversion device and method are provided to operate execution binary in different operation systems without modification, thereby decreasing performance reduction when heterogeneous binary is converted. CONSTITUTION: A recognition unit(110) recognizes source binary. A conversion unit(120) converts the source binary into a target assembly or target IR(Intermediate Representation) by using a static binary conversion engine. An optimization unit(130) optimizes the target IR. A code generation unit generates an assembly code for the optimized target IR. An assembler(150) generates target binary or optimization target binary by assembling the target assembly or the assembly code. A link unit(160) links the target binary or the optimization target binary to the source binary.
