<p>PURPOSE: A wire-to-board connector is provided to secure the amount of displacement of a first engagement portion upon the engagement of the first engagement portion with a second engagement portion, thereby ensuring the engagement between the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion. CONSTITUTION: A wire-to-board connector comprises a first terminal(3) attached to a wire and a second terminal(5) mounted on a circuit board. The second terminal includes an accommodating portion(11) formed in a tubular shape. The first terminal includes an inserted portion(31) to be inserted into the accommodating portion of the second terminal. The inserted portion includes a body plate(35) and an elastic piece(36). The elastic piece has a first engagement portion(39). The accommodating portion has a second engagement portion(20). When the inserted portion is inserted into the accommodating portion, the first engagement portion engages with the second engagement portion along with an elastic deformation of the elastic piece, thereby allowing the first terminal to be fitted into the second terminal.
