PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a mold to form the exterior member of a refrigerator is provided to improve workability by forming with an engineering plastic material and form a three-dimensional pattern or shape on the surface of the exterior member in a plate shape. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a mold to form the exterior member of a refrigerator comprises: a step of processing a master mold(200) of a metal material to form a casting mold(300); a step of forming the casting mold by injecting an engineering plastic material in the master mold; a step of forming a metallic coating layer on the casting mold; and a step of reproducing a plurality of casting molds using the master mold.
