PURPOSE: An electric compressor is provided to reduce the axial length of the electric compressor and prevent interference between lead wires by changing the shape and structure of a terminal connector. CONSTITUTION: An electric compressor comprises a driving unit, a compression unit, a control unit, and a terminal connector(500). The driving unit comprises a housing(510) which forms an exterior shape and a plurality of terminals(520) which are installed in the housing and connected to a plurality of lead wires(L1, L2, L3) drawn out from a coil(142). The plurality of lead wires are drawn out from the lateral side(142a) of the coil, and one or more of the lead wires are drawn out to the opposite side in the circumferential direction(C) of the coil.
