PURPOSE: An optical component and a display device are provided to effectively protect optical conversion particles from external moisture and oxygen through an inorganic matrix by containing glass in the inorganic matrix. CONSTITUTION: An optical conversion sheet includes an inorganic matrix(510) and multiple optical conversion particles(520). The inorganic matrix surrounds the optical conversion particles. The inorganic matrix contains inorganic materials and has a plate shape. Fluoride glass or chalcogenide glass is used as the inorganic matrix. Since the fluoride glass and the chalcogenide glass have low glass transition temperatures, the inorganic matrix disperses the optical conversion particles easily. |
