ULTRA LOW LOSS OPTICAL FIBER

PURPOSE: An ultra-low loss optical fiber is provided to show a characteristic suitable for an existing G.652.D optical fiber standard, to improve more than 10% loss and to offer an optical fiber suitable for mass production. CONSTITUTION: An ultra-low loss optical fiber is located in a central part of an optical fiber(100) and includes a core(110) having the highest refractive index in the optical fiber, a trench(120) having the lowest refractive index in the optical fiber while surrounding the core and a cladding(130) surrounding the trench. The core is located in the center of the optical fiber. The core includes a first sub core layer having the highest refractive index in the optical fiber, and a second sub core layer having a refractive index lower than the first sub core layer.
