A drum type washing machine is provided to prevent vibration and noise of a pump from being transferred to the external by integrally forming a pump casing to a tub and connecting a hose to the pump casing. A drum type washing machine comprises a casing, a tub(10), pumps(54,56), and hoses. The tub is installed in the casing by a shock absorbing unit and a pump casing(100) is integrally formed at a lower part. The pump pumps up water drained into the pump casing. The hoses are connected with the pump casing to guide pumped water. Impellers(54B,56B) of the pump are aligned in pump chambers(102, 104). The pump chambers are opened to at least one of front, rear, left, and right directions. |
