A tableware washing machine is provided to prevent thermal deformation of a sump due to contact between a heater and the sump by spacing the heater away from the sump, and to reduce current density per unit area generated in the heater by downsizing the heater, for avoiding accidents caused by excessive current density. A tableware washing machine comprises a washing tub(2), a sump(13), a heater(36), and a heater cover(42). The sump is provided on a lower side of the washing tub. The heater is provided on a bottom side of the washing tub, surrounding the outer side of the sump. The sump and the heater is integrated by connecting the heater to a heater support part which is provided onto the sump. The heater cover, which is provided on a heater mounting groove(39) that surrounds the sump, covers the heater, and include a water permeable hole(42a) for allowing washing water to pass through and make contact with the heater, so as to be heated by the heater. |
