PURPOSE: A wood boiler for family use is provided to improve thermal exchange efficiency by increasing a thermal absorbing area and to improve temperature uniformity by releasing a local temperature difference of heating water inside a thermal storage chamber. CONSTITUTION: A wood boiler for family use comprises a main body(10), a combustion chamber(20), a thermal storage tank, a flue(40), a heating water supply line(50), a heating water collecting line(60), a hot water supply line(70), a make-up water supply device(80), a safety device(90), and a fire grate(100). The fire grate includes an outer pipe and a plurality of intermediate pipes. The heating water collecting line is connected to the outer pipe positioned in the rear of the combustion chamber. A connecting pipe is connected to both outer pipes which are positioned in the front of the combustion chamber by penetrating through the outer wall of the combustion chamber and heating water is circulated through a pipe comprising the fire grate.
