PURPOSE: An LED lighting device is provided to use an AC power source and not to use an AC/DC converter, thereby reducing the weight and size. CONSTITUTION: An LED lighting device comprises a rectifier circuit which is connected to an AC power source; a first LED group which has at lest one LED; a second LED group which is serially connected to the first LED group; a first switch which opens or closes the connections of connection terminals and earth terminals of the first LED group and the second LED group; and a second switch which opens or closes the connection of a terminal and an earth terminal of the second LED group.
