PURPOSE: A vessel for sailing in a polar region is provided to sail with a bulbous bow in a general sea area and to sail to break ice. CONSTITUTION: A vessel for sailing in a polar region comprises a rotary type bow unit(120) and a driving unit(130). The rotary type bow unit is rotatably connected to a bow side of the vessel around a rotary shaft. The driving unit rotates the bow side in a rotary manner.
