TRANSITION CONTROLL SYSTEM FOR DEAD SECTION OF ELECTRIC RAILCAR

PURPOSE: A transition control system for a dead section of an electric railcar is provided to regularly supply power to a railcar during transition from a dead section to a power-supply section, thereby stabilizing railcar operation and extending life of a variety of electronic devices of the railcar. CONSTITUTION: A battery monitoring unit(170) monitors output power of a battery. A regulator monitoring unit(180) monitors output power of a regulator. A power control unit(150) and controls the output power of the battery and regulator by monitoring the output power of the battery monitoring unit and the regulator monitoring unit. The power control unit maintains power required by a railcar at a regular level.
