PURPOSE: A device for virtual broadcasting and a method thereof are provided to raise the satisfaction of a user by recommending a broadcasting channel close to the intent of the user by combining various conditions. CONSTITUTION: A server receives a virtual channel generation request including a specific condition from a client(400). The server determines clients satisfying the specific condition as a virtual group for virtual broadcasting(402). The server analyzes log data reported from the clients included in the virtual group to provide a personal broadcasting/content program guidance to a user(404).
