PURPOSE: A device and a method for correcting the display data of a cluster are provided to ensure the accuracy of a speedometer and an integrating meter displayed on a cluster when mounting tires with different sizes. CONSTITUTION: A device and a method for correcting the display data of a cluster comprise a reference data storage unit(10), a speed output unit(20), a wheel acceleration collecting unit(30), and a correcting unit(40). The reference data storage unit stores wheel acceleration by the speed of a vehicle. The speed output unit produces the speed of the vehicle. The wheel acceleration collecting unit collects wheel acceleration by synchronizing with the speed producing time point of the speed output unit. The correcting unit corrects cluster display data on the basis of the difference between the reference data and collected data with respect to the wheel acceleration on the identical speed.
