PURPOSE: An active air flap device for a vehicle is provided to primarily defrost a frozen air flap and to prevent the air flap from being additionally frozen using self-generated heat. CONSTITUTION: An active air flap device for a vehicle comprises a duct, an actuator, a loader(13), a rotary shaft device(20), a first air flap, a second air flap, and a pyrogen(30). The loader is rotatably installed with respect to a duct with the power of an actuator. The rotary shaft device is installed with respect to the duct to be axially rotatable. The rotary shaft is flexibly rotatable in the front and rear direction of a vehicle when being applied by an external force. The first and second air flaps are joined to the rotary shaft device to be separated in the left and right direction of the vehicle. The first and second air flaps open or close the duct along with the rotation of the rotary shaft device. The pyrogen receives a shock when the vehicle flexibly rotates in the front and rear direction of the vehicle for self-generating heat through a chemical reaction.
