The blank (30) has a shaft (3) whose projecting part (32) projects with respect to a tab surface (31), where the blank is made of aluminum or cast iron, and height (H) of the projecting part of the shaft is 1-2 cm. The projecting part of the shaft is ruptured in a predetermined breaking zone (34). The breaking zone is formed with a slot (37) at circumference of a side wall (36) of the projecting part of the shaft by molding or machining, where the slot has a straight-sided cross-section or triangular cross-section. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a shaft of a crankcase of an internal combustion engine. |
