PURPOSE: A touch type pob key and a method for controlling a vehicle using the same are provided to improve durability and convenience of a user by simplifying the configuration of the pob key, and to enable to use the pob key conveniently by improving touch convenience of a user in front of the pob key. CONSTITUTION: A touch type pob key(200) includes a front cover part(210), a PCB(220) and a rear cover part(250). The front cover part comprises a number of touch parts. The PCB comprises a touch command processing part processing a touch command inputted through the touch part. The rear cover part accommodates the PCB by being combined with the front cover part. The front cover part has a groove part where a finger of a user can slide, on the surface of a path between a first touch part and the second, the third and the fourth touch part. The touch command processing part of the PCB transmits a corresponding control command to the vehicle, if a command of touching one of the second, the third and the fourth touch part is received after the first touch part is touched. |
