PURPOSE: A flash memory based storage device and a user device including the same are provided to effectively use a memory resource by dividing an LBA(Logical Block Address) area into two areas. CONSTITUTION: A flash memory(2210) stores data, and a controller(2220) controls the flash memory and executes an invalidation operation in response to a trim command of a host. The controller manages a trim sector bitmap by constructing the trim sector bitmap based on trim information received from the host in the invalidation operation. The controller includes an LBA area table for managing the trim sector bitmap as a predetermined size of an LBA area unit. The LBA area table stores information related to an area receiving the trim information or an area which does not receive the trim information.
