CONTENTS DELIVERY NETWORK SYSTEM HAVING EDGE NODE AND METHOD FOR CACHING AND MANAGING CONTENTS

PURPOSE: A content distribution network system including an edge node and a method for caching and managing content of the edge node are provided to reduce a network load caused by excessive content traffic by selectively caching content of predetermined resolution based on features of a user terminal and a network. CONSTITUTION: An information collecting unit(100) obtains user terminal information and network information. A content caching unit(110) checks features of a network and a user terminal by analyzing the obtained information and selectively caches content of predetermined resolution according to the checking result. A content providing unit(120) provides the cached content to the user terminal according to a request.
