The valve (1) has an axle (7) rotatable related to a closing element (5) and extending according to axial direction (A). The axle comprises an external part (32) located outside a body (3). A cover (9) is fixed on the body in a water-tight manner for surrounding the external part of the axle. The cover comprises a proximal opening (16) in communication with a body opening (15), where the cover and an external surface (13) of the axle define an internal volume (12). The axle comprises a guide bearing (11) provided with interwoven metal wires in an inner side of the internal volume. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a valve.
