<p>PURPOSE: A method for checking and informing of an electronic anklet is provided to allow a person to query the location of an electronic anklet wearer using an application of smartphone and to be informed of that the electronic anklet wearer comes within a predetermined range by an alarm, message or vibration. CONSTITUTION: A method for checking and informing of an electronic anklet comprises the steps of: an application installation step(S101) of downloading and installing an application in a smartphone and setting a reference distance of three levels which includes a maximum, medium, and neighboring distances by a smartphone user; an warning message outputting step(S102) of displaying an warning message when an electronic anklet comes within the maximum distance; an alarm outputting step(S103) of displaying a warning message concurrently with outputting a previously saved warning alarm when the electronic anklet comes within the medium distance ; a vibration operating step(S104) of displaying the warning message concurrently with vibrating the smartphone when the electronic anklet comes within the neighboring distance; a check determination step(S105) of determining whether the smartphone user pressed a checking submit button of the application; and a current location checking step(S106) of displaying the location of an electronic anklet wearer who is located within a predetermined diameter from the current location of the smartphone user.
