PURPOSE: Kyungokhwan(Korean medicinal pill) containing ginseng, Poria cocos, honey, and Rehmannia glutinosa var. purpurea, and additionally containing Poria cocos, Atractylodes macrocephala Koidzumi, and Licorice powder is provided to ensure convenience, to minimize efficacy reduction, and to reduce side effects. CONSTITUTION: Kyungokhwan contains 10 parts by weight of ginseng, 10-30 parts by weight of Poria cocos, 50-70 parts by weight of honey, and 60-80 parts by weight of Rehmannia glutinosa var. purpurea, and additionally contains 3-7 parts by weight of Poria cocos, 3-7 parts by weight of Atractylodes macrocephala Koidzumi, and 3-7 parts by weight of Licorice powder. A method for manufacturing Kyungokhwan comprises: a step of mixing Poria cocos powder, honey, and pulverized Rehmannia glutinosa var. purpurea; a step of heating the mixture in a water bath for 72 hours or more and cooling at room temperature for 24 hours or more; and a step of heating the mixture in the water bath for 24 hours or more. |
