<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide capability which can run in a lock step in a micro processor. <P>SOLUTION: A method provides high integrity communication in a high integrity processing system 10 having at least two redundant application processors 12 and 14 in a non-lock step configuration.
