<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic tracking camera system for achieving tracking control in a prescribed position without largely changing a video even if a position of a tracking subject differs from a prescribed position of tracking. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic tracking camera system includes: rotating means for panning/tilt-rotating a photographing section including a lens device and an imaging apparatus; tracking object detecting means for detecting a tracking object from a photographed video; motion vector detecting means for detecting a motion vector of the tracking object; acquisition position setting means for setting an acquisition position of the tracking object in the photographed video; and control means for controlling driving of the rotating means. The control means includes: an acquisition mode for controlling the rotating means to acquire the tracking object in the acquisition position on the basis of the motion vector detected by the motion vector detecting means after the tracking object is detected in the photographed video by the tracking object detecting means; and a maintaining mode for controlling the rotating means so that the tracking object is continuously acquired after the acquisition mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
