<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure an aircraft air conditioning system so as to reduce the energy required for an aircraft. <P>SOLUTION: The aircraft air conditioning system 10 includes: a first compressed air supply source 12 including a compressor 14, a motor 16 and a turbine 18; and a second compressed air supply source. The compressor 14 receives outside air 15, compresses the outside air 15 and feed the compressed outside air to an aircraft cabin 20. In a first operation mode, if an available power in the aircraft is lower than a threshold, the air to be supplied to the aircraft cabin 20 is provided only from the first compressed air supply source 12. In a second operation mode, if an available power in the aircraft is higher than the threshold, the air to be supplied to the aircraft cabin 20 is provided from both of the first compressed air supply source 12 and the second compressed air supply source 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
