<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device that maintains quick start-up of an image heating film by a heat generator, and suppresses a heater protective layer and an inner surface of the image heating film from being scraped off. <P>SOLUTION: In order to rotate an image heating film that is heated by a heat generator, rotation speed control means rotates to drive rotation drive means exponentially in a first temporal change to a rotation speed b that is slower than a final rotation speed a at the start of rotation drive of the rotation drive means, and then rotates to drive the rotation drive means in a second temporal change that is slower than the first temporal change to be rotated at the final rotation speed a from the rotation speed b after a lapse of a predetermined time period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
