<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire that effectively improves a steering stability while satisfactorily securing saving weight of the tire and riding comfortableness. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic radial tire includes bead fillers 5 arranged to gradually decrease in thickness from radially outward positions of bead cores 4 of a pair of bead parts 3 to the radially outward direction, respectively, and a radial carcass 6 that is at least single-layered and constituted with organic fiber cords, and extending in a troidal shape from one of the bead fillers 5 to the other bead filler 5. Both ends of the radial carcass 6 are positioned radially outward than radially outward ends of the bead fillers 5. A reinforcing layer 7 constituted with organic fiber cords is arranged to bend around each bead core 4, and respective radially outward end portions of inside and outside parts 7a and 7b of the reinforcing layer 7 in a tire width direction are positioned to overlap with the end portions of the radial carcass 6 in the tire width direction. Thus, an elastic modulus of each organic fiber cord of the reinforcing layer 7 is greater than the elastic modulus of each organic fiber cord of the carcass ply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
