摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle charging system in which, even if current supply is stopped temporarily, when resuming charging, charging can be implemented surely. <P>SOLUTION: An electric vehicle charging system comprises a transformer 14 which measures a current flowing in a trunk breaker 12 of a distribution board 1 and a charging control device 4 which includes an opening/closing contact part for opening/closing a charging path from the distribution board 1 to an electric vehicle 2 and, when the transformer 14 detects an overcurrent exceeding a predetermined first current threshold value while the electric vehicle is charged, opens the opening/closing contact part 16. After the charging control device 4 performs the opening operation (point P1) on the opening/closing contact part 16 in response to the overcurrent detection, if no current flows to the charging path even after a closing operation (point P2) through operation of the opening/closing operation part 16, the charging control device 4 switches the opening/closing contact part 16 to open (point P3) and after the lapse of a fixed time, the closing operation is performed again (point P4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
