<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform imaging of a coin in a proper conveyance attitude in a coin handling apparatus comprising an imaging part which images a coin being conveyed on a conveyance path. <P>SOLUTION: A coin handling apparatus 100 comprises: conveyance belts 10, 20 which convey a coin CN by carrying it on them; a CCD camera 30 which is disposed above the conveyance belt 20 and images the coin CN being conveyed on the conveyance belt 20; and an attitude stabilizing mechanism which is disposed above the conveyance belt 20 at an upstream side from the CCD camera 30 in the conveyance direction of the coin CN and stabilizes the conveyance attitude of the coin CN on the conveyance belt 20. The attitude stabilizing mechanism includes a coin stabilizing plate 40 which collides with the coin CN and makes the coin CN drop on the conveyance belt 20 if at least one part of the coin CN is lifted from the surface of the conveyance belt 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
