<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure an image signal processing circuit by using an operational circuit and perform temporal error diffusion processing without using a large capacity memory. <P>SOLUTION: The image signal processing circuit has: an upper and lower code generation unit for generating an upper gradation code and a lower gradation code out of subfield codes that can be used for an image display; and a display code selection unit 80 for obtaining a gradation to be displayed by adding a space error diffused from peripheral pixels of the pixel in the present field and a time error created on the basis of a code of the space error generated at the pixel in the previous field and a gradation of an image signal in the present field to the gradation of the image signal, and for selecting, as a display code, a subfield code having a gradation close to the gradation to be displayed, out of the upper gradation code and the lower gradation code. The image signal processing circuit displays a gradation, using the display code, by controlling lighting/non-lighting of each pixel in each subfield. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
