<p>The present invention relates to a method for providing a location-based blog service and to a system for the same. The method and the system of the present invention are performed by a system for exchanging data with a plurality of terminals through a network to provide a location-based blog service to users of each terminal, and comprise the steps of: receiving a map blog request of a first user from a terminal of a certain user; providing map data to the terminal of the certain user; searching for a spot identifier registered in a spot list of the first user registered in an account of a second user; and searching spot object data corresponding to the searched spot identifier to extract a spot icon and spot coordinates information from the searched spot object data, and providing the extracted spot icon and spot coordinate information to the terminal of the certain user such that the extracted spot icon can be displayed to the location corresponding to the spot coordinates information extracted from map data. According to the present invention, a separate map is provided to each user so that the user may selectively register only the desired object in his/her blog, thereby providing a blog service optimized to each user.</p> |
