<p>A backlight module and a liquid crystal display device. The backlight module comprises a lamp bar, a light guide plate (2) and light coupling elements (60). The light guide plate (2) is coupled with the light emitting surface of the lamp bar; the light coupling elements (60) are arranged between the lamp bar and the light guide plate (2). The light coupling elements (60) form a light coupling channel (61) facing the light incident surface of the light guide plate (2) and being at the periphery of the light emitting surface of the lamp bar. Because the light coupling elements (60) used for guiding the light emitted by the lamp bar to the light guide plate (2) are arranged between the light emitting surface of the lamp bar and the light guide plate (2) of the backlight module, the light coupling elements (60) form the light coupling channel (61) facing the light incident surface of the light guide plate (2) and being at the periphery of the light emitting surface of the lamp bar, light rays emitted by the lamp bar are guided to the light guide plate (2), and especially the light rays with great angles emitted by the lamp bar can be reflected to the light incident surface of the light guide plate (2), so that the light rays emitted by the light bar can enter the light guide plate (2) as many as possible, the light ray utilization ratio of the light emitting lamp is improved, the efficiency of the backlight module is improved, and the display effect of the liquid crystal display device is improved.</p> |
