PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To devise processing after a nanostructure grows on a substrate to strongly bond the nanostructure to the substrate.

SOLUTION: A nanostructured material 100 includes: the substrate (first substrate 110a); a nanostructure layer 120 in which the plurality of nanostructures 122 are formed on a surface of the substrate (first substrate 110a) to extend in the vertical direction to the surface; and a bonding part 130 in which a substance constituting the substrate (first substrate 110a) extends from the substrate (first substrate 110a) to a void 130a formed at a side of a substrate 110 (110a) of the nanostructure layer 120, and which bonds the nanostructure layer 120 to the substrate (first substrate 110a).
