<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery whose deterioration can be effectively suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A secondary battery 1 includes a battery case 11, an electrode body 13 housed in the battery case, and an electrolyte 14 containing an initial additive and filling the battery case.
