ELECTRODE, NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE BATTERY, AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery superior in battery performance to conventional ones, and an electrode constituting a part of the nonaqueous electrolyte battery.

SOLUTION: Each of electrodes (1, 2) comprises a metal foil (10), a metal porous body (11) provided on at least one surface side of the metal foil (10), and active material parts (12) formed in pores of the metal porous body (11). The active material parts (12) in the electrodes (1, 2) contain an active material powder and a solid electrolyte powder and do not contain a binder. A bonding layer (13) for bringing the metal foil (10) and the metal porous body (11) into close contact with each other may be formed between the metal foil (10) and the metal porous body (11). A nonaqueous electrolyte battery manufactured using the electrodes (1, 2) is superior in battery performance to conventional ones.
