<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sports implement and a grip tape for the same in which, even if the implement is broken at a grip, cut-off is prevented, and thus facilitating handling thereafter. <P>SOLUTION: The grip tape for fixing a grip to a shaft is reinforced by a net knitted by a warp extended in a shaft longitudinal direction and a weft extended in a shaft circumferential direction.
