<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector for a stirring desulfurization device which can suppress dust generation during the operation of the stirring desulfurization device. <P>SOLUTION: An opening 7 in which an impeller shaft 2 can ascend and descend is formed at a dust collecting hood 3 covering the upper part of a vessel 1 for storing molten iron. A seal member 4 blocking a clearance between the opening 7 and the impeller shaft 2 is arranged at the dust collecting hood 3. When putting an impeller 2a into the vessel 1 by descending the impeller shaft 2 via the opening 7 of the dust collecting hood 3, the seal member 4 supported to the dust collecting hood 3 blocks the clearance between the opening 7 of the dust collecting hood 3 and the impeller shaft 2. Then, when taking out the impeller 2a from the vessel 1 by ascending the impeller shaft 2 via the opening 7 of the dust collecting hood 3, the seal member 4 is ascended from the dust collecting hood 3 so that the impeller 2a may be prevented from contacting with the seal member 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
