<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control unit for the electric power steering that can improve equipment reliability while achieving further miniaturization and obtaining the flexibility of wiring design. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control unit (ECU1) for electric power steering has: a first board (control board 11) which is mounted with first surface-mount components (control surface-mount component 110); and only one second board (power board) which is mounted with second surface-mount components (power surface-mount component 120) having larger allowable current capacity than the first surface-mount components, which have approximately the same components mounting area as the first board, and is formed with the board mounting structure which is layered with the first board and the second board. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
