<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle device in which a stopper for positioning a fully closed position is eliminated to reduce cost and an outer peripheral surface of a valve does not bite into a bore inner peripheral surface in a fully closed position. <P>SOLUTION: The throttle device is characterized in that the fully closed position is decided by the outer peripheral surface of a throttle valve 5 and the inner peripheral surface of the bore 11 coming into contact with each other, an angle made by one outer peripheral surface 5c present at the farthest position from a throttle shaft 4 of the throttle valve 5 and the upstream side end surface 5b of the throttle valve 5 is ≤82°, an angle made by the other outer peripheral surface 5f present at the farthest position from the throttle shaft 4 of the throttle valve 5 and the downstream side end surface 5d of the throttle valve 5 is ≤82°, a load torque TF acting on the throttle valve 5 when a control means locates the valve at the fully closed position is controlled to be ≤0.6 N*m. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
