COFFERDAM STRUCTURE OF DAM BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cofferdam structure which can surely cope with a buoyant force acting during construction.

SOLUTION: A cofferdam structure 100 used when constructing a through hole 2 in an existing dam body 1 comprises: a dome body 10 whose opening 21 abuts against an upstream surface 3 of the dam body 1 so as to surround a planned opening position 4a of the through hole 2; and anchor 60 placed in a water bottom part 5 on the upstream side of the dam body 1 and connected to the dome body 10.
