<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive material decontamination and removal method in which a decontamination rate is high, a required cost is low, and the amount of waste including radioactive material is small. <P>SOLUTION: The method is for purifying contaminated water including radioactive material mainly comprising cesium and includes: a biological film processing step in which a biological film 11 is used to decontaminate and remove radioactive material in contaminated water 12; an excessive sludge separation step to separate excessive sludge 14 from processed water 13, which is processed in the biological film processing step; and a dehydration step to dehydrate the excessive sludge 14, which is separated in the excessive sludge separation step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
