<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a list of index update target files and access destination information of the files from files stored in a hierarchy file storage system including a plurality of file servers in a search server searching the hierarchy file storage system. <P>SOLUTION: A front-end side file server creates a file update list for accumulating and storing a file update history in an own file system. A search server requests the file update list from the front-end side file server, and the front-end side file server supplies path name information on a target file in a back-end side file server in addition to the file update list, thereby, the search server accesses the back-end side file server to acquire information necessary for a search index update. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
