<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a full-float type crank shaft device for a bicycle, including a sub assembly formed by integrating crank shafts and the like, and allowing the sub assembly to be fitted to a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: The crank shaft device for a bicycle includes: a shaft 1 provided at a central part of a cylindrical hanger member and configured to install cranks at both ends thereof and to install bearings 3 and 3 on the inside of the cranks; a housing 2 formed on the radially outside of the shaft 1 to support the shaft 1 via the bearings 3; and a cramp nut 5 formed into a cup shape as a whole so as to be fitted to both ends of the housing 2 via an O-ring 6 formed of a rubber elastic body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
