An electrode material which contains: sulfur and/or a compound that contains a sulfur atom; a conductive substance; and a solid electrolyte that contains a lithium atom, a phosphorus atom and a sulfur atom. The electrode material is characterized in that the solid electrolyte has a peak at 86.1 ± 0.6 ppm and/or 83.0 ± 1.0 ppm in the solid 31 PNMR spectrum and the ratio of phosphorus atoms contained in the peak is 62 mol% or more relative to phosphorus atoms contained in all the peaks.
