A switching circuit (33) of an embodiment of the present invention comprises a connecting circuit for cascade-connecting control terminals for controlling the switching of N number (N being an integer of 2 or greater) of transistors (M1-Mn) via N-1 number of coils (L1), and coils (L3) connected separately between the ends of the transistors (M1-Mn) and an end of a coil (L2) electrically connected at the other end to a DC power source, the switching elements (M1-Mn) being sequentially switched by a PWM signal inputted to an input terminal of the connecting circuit. The switching circuit (33) further comprises a transistor (M0) inserted so as to be cascade-connected to one end side or the other end side of the coil (L2).
