<p>The invention relates to a sense indicator to be used for identifying the sense of rotation of the rotary magnetic field in asynchronous motors. According to the invention, the indicator consists of a test rotor consisting of some electrically-insulating discs (1 and 1') which are spaced apart by some copper bars (2) placed in some blind holes (g) short-circuited on the inner part of the test rotor by means of some short-circuiting rings (3 and 3'), the test rotor having the shape of a cage being placed inside a container consisting of two concentric electrically-insulating tubes (4 and 4') and being closed at its ends by the electrically-insulating discs (1 and 1') and sealed by an adhesive coat (a), where the container is filled with a ferromagnetic medium (5) and the whole assembly is mounted by means of some slide bearings (6 and 6') at the extremity of a shaft (7) which is provided at the other end with a gripping handle (8).</p> |
