LUMINOUS FLUX CONTROL COMPONENT, LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE, SURFACE LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE, AND DISPLAY UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous flux control component for use in combination with a light-emitting device or a light-emitting device package in a surface light source device, which prevents incident light from the rear face from converging on a specific region even for use in combination with a light-emitting device or a light-emitting device package having a light-emitting surface larger than the aperture diameter of a concave plane of incidence.

SOLUTION: A luminous flux control component 140 includes a light control emission surface 141 which controls the travelling direction of light emitted from a light-emitting device package 130, a concave part 142 located on the opposite side of the light control emission surface 141, and a rear face 144 extending from aperture edge of the concave part 142 in a radial direction. At least a partial region (opposite face 144a) of the rear face 144 is provided with a plurality of convex strips or concave strips extending in parallel with each other in one direction.
