<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the curvature of a bimetal to be augmented for the same flowing current. <P>SOLUTION: In a circuit breaker, a thermal trip 300A composed of a heater 10 in which a load current flows and a bimetal 50 is included, so that when the load current falls into an overcurrent state, an opening/closing mechanism 200 is driven by the curvature of the bimetal 50 to separate a movable contact 11 from a fixed contact 8. An insulation sheet 1 to insulate between the heater 10 and the bimetal 50 is wound extending over the heater 10 and the bimetal 50, thus the insulation sheet covering the heater 10 and the bimetal 50 so as to restrain heat radiation from the heater 10 to its ambient atmosphere and heat radiation from the bimetal 50 to its ambient atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
